2015 Sponsorship Opportunities

Makerspace Urbana, a program of the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, presents the  Heartland Maker Fest, a unique family-friendly event celebrating the maker culture in central Illinois.

Our primary monetary sponsorship is provided by the Urbana Arts grant but we are in need of more support: both in the form of financial donations and gifts-in-kind.

Through your contribution, you’ll be able to reach over 1200 makers and attendees from all over Central Illinois who participate every year. Sponsorship for this event will help us ensure that our Makers and Guests have the best experience possible!  It will also benefit Makerspace Urbana by helping us pay rent for our facility and hold community workshops throughout the year.

Level Three Sponsor

$500 – $1000 donation or donation in kind

• Reserved space for your company banner prominently displayed in the Maker Fest sponsor wall
• Your sponsor name and company logo included in all Maker Fest communications and our official website
• Special mention on our social media sites (Facebook and Twitter) with hashtag
• Your name and company logo displayed on a poster board at the Maker Fest
• A reserved table at the Heartland Maker Fest to be used to showcase projects or information about your company

Level Two Sponsor

$250 – $499 donation or donation in kind

• Special mention on our social media sites (Facebook and Twitter) with hashtag
• Your name and company logo displayed on a poster board at the Maker Fest
• A reserved table at the Heartland Maker Fest to be used to showcase projects or information about your company

Level One Sponsor

$100 – $249 donation or donation in kind

• Your name and company logo displayed on a poster board at the Maker Fest
• A reserved table at the Heartland Maker Fest to be used to showcase projects or information about your company
