We’re excited to welcome AE Machines as a first-time maker this year. AE Machines, LLC is a Champaign-Urbana, IL based company designing tools to make automation design and implementation accessible to a broader group of people and businesses. They are located in the EnterpriseWorks Incubator in the University of Illinois Research Park.
Their AE Design Tool allows you to create your own automated machine. The main elements of the tool are: the software design area, a canvas that will hold the primitives from which you build your machine behavior, the hardware design area, a workbench showing all the parts you’ll need to construct your machine, the main menu, to navigate around the site, and the build menu, with options specific for designing your machine.
