From the Maker: “Janiya loves making doll clothes! This 11 year old has been making doll clothes and jewelry with recycled material for at least 3 years. Her creativity with style, attention to detail and over designs are amazing. Not only is she a designer but she is a leader as well. In fiscal year 2017 she served as Vice President of her youth group under the illustrious organization, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Her group recently won a service award from the City of Champaign. Janiya is a scholar and an amazing big sister and role model her younger brother and sister. She recently co-authored a book with them and is working on a solo writing project. Janiya is kind, empathetic and a true angel. In addition to her entrepreneurship with her doll clothing line Puppy World, in the future she would like to help animals as a Veterinarian.”
