Heartland Maker Fest is excited to welcome Sombra y Luce as a new Maker!
In their words, Sombra y Luce is:
An artist collective striving together for a safe space for peoples of diverse backgrounds to live in truth and mutual support, fostering a communal, democratic, self managing, DIY, creative, imaginative, thoughtful, communicative, comfortable, relaxing, equal, healthy, just and ecologically regenerative culture. We incorporate experimental art, design, and performance into our transformative process.
They will be demonstrating a treadle sewing machine and selling bicycle panniers, masks, clothes, and custom built bicycle frames.
